Thank you to everyone who contributed to a wonderful three days at Rising Tides; Nurturing our Gifted Culture, from August 3rd - 5th, 2006.

The Organising Committee would especially like to thank the presenters who provided delegates with an extensive array of workshops that showcased professional practice happening here in New Zealand in the field of gifted education. We appreciate the time and effort that you all put into your sessions.

Our thanks too to Dr Nicholas Colangelo, Dr Karen Rogers, and Dr Roger Moltzen for inspiring keynote addresses and to the Plenary Panel put together by Lyall Lukey from SmartNet/ Lukey Training with its young 'creatives' who willingly shared with us their experiences as risk takers and successful business people.

Thanks to the 710 delegates who participated at the conference with enthusiasm and passion. We hope that all who attended would have learned something new and inspirational and made valuable contacts, so that together we may all 'maintain the rising tide.'

We ask that you now share this new knowledge with those others in the field who were unable to attend this conference.
